Safety in the Kitchen

Safety in the Kitchen. It’s also a good idea to familiarize yourself with general produce and the art of spotting top quality produce in your local supermarket. It is also very important to makes sure your meat purchases of beef, poultry, or fish, are fresh too. Refrigerating all the mats until you are done with them and cleaning all utensils that come in contact with the meat are two other additional tips. All meals that include meat should be cooked all the way through and to a safe cooking temperature. Always use a cooking thermometer to make sure your meats reach a temperature of 140 degrees F. Some foods won’t be heated, but do need to be kept at 40 degrees F if they are foods which are typically chilled.
